Every business, every organisation and every individual is on a digital transformation journey. Our event looks at how technology is impacting HR in the area of policies, procedures and compliance.
Join us to learn how HR can benefit from this transformation to the digital workplace.
Within the ever changing landscape of Employment Law, businesses are continuously under pressure to manage employees’ information in order to have a functioning, efficient and compliant business.
When compliance is under control, it gives you time to do the other, more strategic and value-added work with people by focusing on business partnering, building an engaged workforce, creating a work environment that enables people to thrive and fully focus on the bottom line.
This event is an educational opportunity for attendees to discuss how the role of technology enables critical change by enhancing productivity, accessibility, compliance and most importantly creating real time for people.
Our keynote speaker, David Bell will be looking at the impact of technology on HR policies and procedures, such as the importance of a Social Media policy and the benefit of having relevant information readily available on employees’ request.
David qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and has worked primarily as an in-house solicitor for companies ranging from a start-up company to a major food company listed on the Irish and UK stock exchanges. Today David is the Managing Director of The HR Department. Together with a team of experienced HR professionals he assist clients in the development of a strategic approach to HR issues and the establishment of HR processes.
Alistair Thacker, our Head of Technology will look at HR solutions available that can reduce administrative burdens for you and your team. For example streamlining processes like staff inductions, recruitment and employee records.
Alistair has a BSc. in Computing from Napier University. He is a certified MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer) and MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) and has over 19 years’ software development experience with large multinational companies.
Each attendee will also receive a Power Bank Charger.
